Over the years I have visited many zoos but don’t get me wrong I would much rather capture an animal in it natural habitat and of not captive. But I do still enjoy visiting zoos and wildlife parks as it give me a great chance to get close shots of animals that are often miles away and extremely difficult to get good pictures of in the wild.

Among the zoos I have visited (Edinburgh, Flamingo Land, and Ueno to name a few) my favourite has to Prague. I say this because I found the zoo really paid great attention to detail for their enclosures and appeared to make them as natural as they possibly could.

Another reason is they have so many animals some of which I may never see in the wild. The first being the clouded leopard I was amazed how much smaller it was to its African cousin and obviously I was blown away by its beauty.

All in all I really hope you enjoy the pictures I have on display in this section and really hope it inspires you to get out and see some of the amazing animals these zoo have to show.
