Printed nature is a collection of animal based art work produced by James Jenkinson from his studio in Filey North Yorkshire.

The work displayed here has mainly been created using collagraph printmaking as well as etchings and chin colle.

Although variations in medium are used this pages focus will solely be focused on the artists love and passion for nature and wildlife in particular.

James’ aim is produce a collagraph print of every British bird. This will be a massive task but one he aims to achieve over the years.

In addition to the depiction of birds James also wants to highlight the decline of animals in the wild and to do this he creates detailed etchings of critically endangered animals.
