No matter the size one of my main passions is that of capturing animals in the wild and any of my spare time is spent studying and observing the beautiful animals the world has to offer.

The majority of the animals I capture are from around the Filey area and Yorkshire as this is where I am based. A great spot to overserve birds and occasionally over animals such as foxes, voles etc.… is Filey Dams and it is here you get the opportunity to see a whole host of birds whether it is your garden birds such as robins, blue tits etc.… to anything such as sparrow hawks, barn owls, long tailed tits and a whole host of wading bird the Dams is truly a little treasure for the small town.

Being by the sea the Brigg is also a fantastic place to see animals and other bird species. Here you get to see seals, occasionally whales and dolphins and small creatures such crabs star fish to name a few.

Beside the local nature and wildlife I love to travel and explore more of the worlds stunning animals and I have done so in various countries now. The first being Japan where I observed the Japanese Macaque also known as the Snow Monkey in Nagano. A more recent trip was an extensive visit to South Africa where I must be honest I was blown away with the diversity of animals on display there from the big five, southern right whales, great white sharks, jackass penguins, kingfishers to name a few. This trip was truly an adventure I will never forget.

I am currently planning my next excursion that I imagine will Canada to see bears and killer whales or Asia to see orangutans and then humpback whales in Australia and everything inbetween.
